Arrive with modest expectations and you shouldn't be disappointed by this "middle-of-the-road" place with "in-house ski rentals" and a "free, five-minute shuttle" service to Vail skiing (it's a "bit too far from Vail Village" shopping and dining, however); the fireplace in the "warm and cozy" lobby overlooks the "old and tired-looking" guestrooms with their "horrible", "hard" beds – just one of the examples of where this "family-friendly" property could use "a little sprucing up."

The staff at the front desk were very pleasant.
Showed signs of wear even though it was touted as an upscale hotel. Two ice machines were broken.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly/helpful. The hotel itself showed signs of wear, and the halls were dark. Two ice machines were broken. This is not, in my opinion, an upscale hotel. However, it was quite adequate. ...read more

The people, unbeatable service, location and the dynamic hotel itself.

The incredible, upbeat staff, unbeatable service, location and the dynamic hotel itself. Check out the lobby - middle fire place, surrounded by black leather sofas and recliners, right near the bar and restaurant. Nice ambiance! ...read more

Friendly near the highway.
Broken hot tub timer
and dangerous sidewalk.

The hotel needs some attention such as minor repairs and cleaning. Bus schedules were difficult to get. This hotel could be a great place with some minor updates.

Attractive lobby, clean room, good restaurants, helpful shuttle.

This hotel was everything I expected and more. The room was clean and well appointed. We tried the Westside cafe for breakfast and Bagali's Italian restaurant for dinner, and both were very good. The lobby was very nice, featuring a large copper-topped fireplace. The hotel was on par with your typical Marriott Courtyard or Hampton Inn quality-wise. The shuttle (which leaves the hotel every half hour for the Vail villages) was very convenient since it saved me $25 worth of all day parking each day in the village. ...read more
